Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie Voxy uses. The list is short.

The short version

  • Our website sets no cookies when you visit it or try the live demo.
  • We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and no cookies from anyone else.
  • The only cookie a visitor can receive is a sign in cookie, set when you sign in to your Voxy account.

The cookies we use

voxy_user

  • What it does: keeps you signed in on Voxy's account pages, so the Voxy app on your Mac can connect to your account after you sign in or create an account. Signing out on the website removes it. Signing out in the app does not; otherwise it expires on its own.
  • When it is set: only when you sign in or create an account.
  • Where it is used: only on Voxy's account pages. It is not sent with requests for the rest of the website.
  • How long it lasts: 30 days.
  • Who sets it: Voxy. It is never shared with anyone else.
  • How it is protected: it cannot be read by scripts on the page, it is sent only over encrypted connections, and browsers do not send it when other websites make requests to Voxy in the background.
  • Type: strictly necessary. Sign in does not work without it.

voxy_admin

  • What it does: keeps Voxy staff signed in to our internal admin pages.
  • Who gets it: Voxy staff only. Visitors never receive it.
  • How long it lasts: 12 hours.
  • Type: strictly necessary.

Other browser storage

Our website does not use local storage, session storage, or similar tools. Like any website, it lets your browser keep copies of its pages, fonts, sounds, and images in the browser's ordinary cache so they load faster next time. These copies are the same for every visitor and do not identify you.

The live demo asks your browser for permission to use your microphone. Your browser remembers your choice, and you can change it in your browser's site settings at any time.

Your choices

Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary, we do not ask for cookie consent with a banner.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the voxy_user cookie, you will not be able to sign in to your Voxy account on our website. If you delete it, you will simply need to sign in again.

Changes and contact

If we ever add cookies, we will update this page first, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
